SILVERSTONE GRAND PRIX CIRCUIT.

17th June 2018.

On Sunday we managed to complete what we believe to be the only officially timed lap of a currently FIA licenced Formula 1 track.

A time of 24:34.604 gave me an average speed of 8.88mph.

Thanks to all of the friends who came along to help us collect, we managed to raise £555.88.

Thanks also go to everyone at the HSCC and Silverstone for allowing me to do the lap and also collect all around the circuit.

 April.

Last year I received a message from Catherine Strangeway. Catherine is a friend of mine, Steve Silver's Neice.
She told me she had heard about our charity project and whilst doing her media course at Salford Uni she needed something 'different' to make a short documentary for her coursework about. Could she make a film about me and our Motor Sport for MS charity project?

She put her heart and soul into the filming and production. Twice she travelled down from Salford with all of the equipment to make this film.

We love it and I hope you all do too. Thanks, Cat.

Cat was awarded a well deserved 2:1

Well, what a surprise that was.

We have been named as the MS Society's 2018 'Fund Raiser of the Year' at their very glitzy awards ceremony.

Held at County Hall, London the awards were hosted by Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills.

My award was presented to me by MS Ambassador Stuart Nixon MBE.

I would like to thank everyone at the Society for putting on such a slick event and also the judging team who deemed that my little project was worthy of the award. I feel very humble.
